Hi I’m Judith the owner and founder of Lovebirds Weddings and Events. Over the last 6 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher. I have loved working with kids and helping them become the best people they can be. As much as I have enjoyed teaching I have always had the passion to work in the events industry and showcase my talents in planning, creativity and design.
I decided to begin my Diploma in Wedding Planning, Styling & Design and loved everything I was learning. I started working for various wedding/event planning & styling companies and gained the skills and experience I needed before I opened up my own business.
During the time I was studying, I was lucky enough to travel around the world. Through my travels I have witnessed and experienced various cultures, lifestyles, architecture and how people in different countries celebrated special occasions; such as weddings, engagements, birthdays and festivals. My inspiration as a stylist and designer originate from my travels overseas and within Australia. From the white rooftops and pebbled roads of Santorini, the romantic city of Paris, the hustle and bustle of New York, the non-stop partying of Las Vegas, the magic and happiness in Disneyworld, the spices and bright colours of Mexico, the buzzing streets and unique architecture of Spain, to the white sandy beaches and turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef and the Maldives. I have drawn my inspiration of styling events from many of these stunning locations and cultures.
Since opening my business my team and I at Lovebirds have planned and styled weddings, set up beautiful proposal locations and styled various other events such as engagements, birthdays and baby showers. Coordinating a successful event is probably one of the most difficult things to do, as there is so much involved. However, the Lovebirds team are creative, can multitask and work in dynamic and high-pressure environments to produce amazing results! At Lovebirds we find our clients’ personal relationships to be the foundation to building the celebration they will remember as “the best day ever”. As such, we don’t put a limit on the number of hours we spend together with clients; we know that the more time we spend getting to know them, the better job we can do building their wedding day or special occasion. For this reason, our focus is on full planning and only taking on a limited number of clients. It is an honour to walk with our clients during their planning process and make their dream day become reality. Our goal is to create events, which are elegantly styled and inspiring.
